Teaching time:

Overall competence objective
The participant can both independently and in cooperation with others, handle an adult unconscious person with
or without normal breathing, cf. ERC guidelines for basic resuscitation.
The participant may provide appropriate first aid to an adult person who has foreign objects in the airways as referred to in article 10(1) of Directive 91/414/EEC;
guidelines for basic resuscitation.
The participant has reflected on his own attitude and opportunities to act preventively at the typical
causes of people being killed or injured in traffic.
The participant may act on the main points of first aid in relation to traffic-related
first aid situations.

Implementation of training

This functional training is composed of the following training courses:
Basic training “First aid in cardiac arrest” (4 hours)
Optional training “Traffic-related first aid car, MC and tractor”. (4 hours)
The training must be carried out with a minimum of theory and primarily carried out using
realistic exercises, participant reflection and hands-on training. Exercises and training must be carried out at
relevant and suitable area where bicycle and car etc. can be included, and based on types of accidents where the car is
Involved.
Part 1 (Introduction, etc.) and Part 4 (Closure) are included in the training plan for “Cardiac First Aid”.
Part 4 is not completed until the end of a course.
The training plan for the optional training “Traffic-related first aid for cars, MC and tractors” includes the
two parts do not.
According to this functional training plan, the two programmes are included as a single course.
Is the optional training “Traffic-related first aid for cars, MC and tractors” carried out as an independent
course, it must be completed in 4.5 hours, and parts relating to initiation and completion as they are
described in the basic training “First aid in cardiac arrest”.

Special remarks

If the participant needs the cardiac arrest first aid certificate in connection with the acquisition of
the training must have been completed in accordance with the driving licence order within the last 36 months.
In addition, the participant must complete one of the two traffic-related first aid training courses (which
must be 1 year old).

Must be registered with the Danish First Aid Council and have received special information
that the training should be carried out in practice.

If the objectives of competence are drawn up by the individual instructor or delivered by his or her own
Organization.
The prevention part must be carried out with the applicable material from the Council for
Safe Traffic.
The training must include a number of traffic-related exercises on relevant Parkareal/road and therefore requires that at least one car and one bike are available for these exercises.
It is not a requirement that they are functional, but they must be able to be included as exercise elements in connection with practical exercises .m.
There must be a maximum of 4 people per CPR training dummy. Note time per participant in the training plan “First aid in cardiac arrest”.
It is expected that the AED/defibrillator trainer can advise and have exercise electrodes
for placement on the dolls.
There must be a maximum of 6 people per AED trainer.
A first aid book/booklet per participant must be provided.
The DFR recommends that
the book/booklet is the participant’s property.
The contents of the first aid book/booklet must be adequate in relation to the
first aid training and thus include the main and
part competency descriptions.
The material provided must be prepared according to the Danish First Aid Council’s
guidelines for the preparation of first aid books.

A practical form of teaching and a minimum of theory must be used. When theory
it must play directly up to first aid professional actions.

Duration of training is 8 hours The specified time is a minimum duration
must be respected. Along the way, short pedagogical 5-10 minutes can be inserted
breaks (preparation for the next topic/exercise, etc.), but max one break per hour.

There must be a maximum of 16 participants per registered first aid instructor

An electronic DFR certificate shall be generated if the participant has been active and
participate in all classes and can handle the competency goals. This is assessed by the
Director. The certificate is valid for 24 months, according to DFR guidelines.

For less than 6 participants, the course is cancelled.

On courses/lectures, the agreement is binding – NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
